Growing Up Green

At our exclusive “Growing Up Green” activity center, junior gardeners (as well as you, Mom and Dad) are invited to create amazing “living crafts” with vibrant flowers and plants!

Join horticultural artist Margareta Warlick for fun-filled activities, including:

Monet’s Garden: Claude Monet was inspired by his garden and spent many years recreating it through his paintings.  Create your own beautiful garden using natural materials where you can imagine fairies and gnomes wondering.

Klimt’s Tree: Gustav Klimt’s painting of the tree of life, reminds us of the cycle of life.  Create your own magical tree of life out of recycled materials, that has symbolic meaning for you.

Warhol's Plant in the Bottle: A fun project for younger children. Just as Andy Warhol’s repetitious Coke bottle prints started Pop Art, this activity will allow you to make your own clone of a plant in a bottle.

Don’t miss Margareta at the Growing Up Green activity center:

Saturday 4/27 - 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm

Sunday 4/28 - 11am, 1pm, 3pm
